I never knew of this Jeff Mangum (Neutral Milk Hotel) song until a friend told me about it a couple weeks ago. I Groovesharked it (that's a verb now) at work one day, and something about the song just haunted me all day. I listened to it on repeat and couldn't stop thinking about it. So when I got home I decided to do a quick 4 track cover.

The guitar and vocals are both first take, and the whole thing took about 40 minutes from start to final product.
